Complex girls

Cette collection d'œuvres est un ensemble d'œuvres uniques, signées et numérotées. Créées en collaboration avec l'artiste Phương, cette série linogravée est inspirée d'un de ses autoportraits, puis agrémentée de collages de son poème "Complex Girls".

I erect temples
Shrines that I come to visit every day
I offer them my silence and my prayers
They answer me with fables and myths
I listen to their prophecies as if they were those
of goddesses
Who want to put rat poison in their fathers’ glass
Hysterical chicks that hold back from crying
Russian dolls broken from the inside
These ones I want to clean and wash their hair
I’ll kiss their feet until the statue rusts
Until I scrape off all the dirt that we’ve caused them"
